Positive Change Project:
ぺちゃくちゃ (pechakucha)
Set up your pechakucha on google docs, this requires 20 slides, presented in 20 seconds per slide. Begin your work on part one only. Remember, final projects are due in June. We will begin this process Monday in the computer lab to get you started.
Project Outline:
Part One. Presentation of the problem (tip of the iceberg, or what is seen like a snapshot)
How did the iceberg model help you understand the problem more clearly?
• Behavior over time graphs (identifying patterns and trends, what's been happening?)
• Connection Circle and Causal Loop (identifying the interdependent parts of the system and reinforcing and corrective feedback loops)
• Latter of Inference to Identify Mental Models from many perspectives
How did you identify the leverage point?
Part Two. Presentation of your solution- Identify leverage points and clearly show measurable evidence of how you increased good and decreased bad. Use tables and graphs to display data.
Part Three. How did systems thinking tools and habits help you with your project?
Which habits did you find to be particularly helpful? Tools? Archetypes?
